Agriculture statistics is collected by various agencies. Therefore, agricultural data is not integrated, scattered across agency and in decentralization database. It is difficult to access all the information in one platform to proceed with analysis and data comparison. Agricultural data should be standardized. In some cases, data is available in unstructured format and specific data management approach need to be taken to utilize the value of those unstructured data. Three main agriculture products will be focused namely oil palm, poultry (chicken) and fisheries (marine & aquaculture).
Business Objectives (BO):
BO1: To strengthen the agricultural statistical of oil palm, poultry (chicken and fisheries in Malaysia.
BO2: To ensure that the agricultural statistics produced are accurate and timely.
